This page describes the privacy-related functionality currently identified in the LiveTV.eu website code. It is a factual, technical description, not a complete legal privacy policy.

Introduction
You can use the public LiveTV.eu website without an account. Pages, searches and search suggestions are requested from the LiveTV.eu server itself.
As with any website, your browser sends technical connection information, such as your IP address, to the server when it requests a page. This page describes the website code; it does not describe the configuration of the hosting environment.
Cookies

The administration area (/admin) uses a session cookie named livetv_admin to keep administrators signed in. The public pages do not set it; it is only set when the administration area is opened, and it expires when the browser is closed.
No other cookies were identified in the current website code.
Local Storage
Some features store information in your browser's local storage. This information stays on your device: the website code does not send it to the LiveTV.eu server.

Local storage has no expiry date. Entries remain until they are removed, for example when you remove a favorite or clear this site's data in your browser.
Session Storage
No use of session storage was identified in the current website code.
Analytics & Tracking
No analytics, advertising or tracking technology was identified in the current website implementation. The website code does not load analytics, advertising, tag-management or consent-platform scripts. The font and the video player library (hls.js) are served from LiveTV.eu itself.
External Services
Channel logos. Channel logos are served from the LiveTV.eu server itself. They are local copies, made once from the logo addresses in the channel catalogue, so your browser does not contact the original logo hosts. If no local copy is available, the channel is shown with its initials.
Outbound links. Links such as “Broadcaster website” or “Open stream in a new tab” take you to external websites that are not part of LiveTV.eu.
Streaming
Opening a channel page does not connect to a stream server. The player only loads a stream after you press Play. The streaming connection may then be made directly to the server hosting that stream, and that server can receive technical connection information, such as your IP address. A stream address can also forward the player to further servers chosen by the stream provider; LiveTV.eu does not control which servers those are.
If a source does not respond after you pressed Play, the player may automatically try the next available source for the same channel, which can mean a connection to another server. Choosing another source in the source menu after starting also loads that source.
Your Choices
- Language: choose another language at any time in the language menu. To remove the language cookie, delete this site's cookies in your browser.
- Favorites: remove a channel from your favorites at any time.
- Continue watching: close the bar with its close button. The stored entry is removed when you clear this site's data.
- Streams: a stream server is only contacted after you press Play.
- Everything at once: clearing this site's cookies and site data in your browser removes every item listed on this page.
